[FIXED] [PTS 25.0] LinearDamping used on Burlak addons

Using this parameter for describing physics of parts of an addon massively slows down vehicle as a whole. Screenshots lower are a comparison between the speed of Burlak without all the addons with LinearDamping on them as opposed to the top speed with all the addons that have this parameter.

Addons affected:

  • Slant Back Trunk Kit
  • Trunk Repair Supplies
  • Repair Kit pack

@McKillem I have visited the upgrade locations for Burlak - but they do not unlock vehicle upgrade options...

@jeffpaul1234 Can't say the same - the only unique Burlak upgrade to be found is its Highrange gearbox, and it unlocked for me no issue.

I suppose that other vehicles with roof rack and such don't have that linear damping parameter?

@DJbarro Here's the list of vehicles with addons that do have LinearDamping applied to them:

  • Azov 43-191 "Sprinter"
  • Burlak 6x6
  • Chevrolet CK1500
  • Chevrolet Apache
  • DON 71
  • Ford F 750
  • Gor BY-4
  • Hummer H2
  • Jeep Wrangler
  • Khan 39 Marshall
  • Khan Lo4F
  • Kirovets K-7M
  • Step 33-64 "Crocodile"
  • Tatra 805
  • TUZ 16 "Actaeon"
  • TUZ 108 "Warthog"
  • TUZ 166
  • TUZ 420 "Tatarin"
  • YAR 87

All of these are affected to differing degrees, some worse than others, but using LinearDamping remains a bad practice either way as far as I'm concerned.

@McKillem

Loaf is a slow brick with roofrack, and other scouts too. Unrealistically slowed down, and tending to side flips.
Like roofracks weight is close to vehicle weight.
