Surge 2 'spellcaster' class and suggestions

Could you create spells-equivalent in Surge 2?
So, spellcaster class would have wide options of ranged particle system oriented gameplay and would have a dedicated stst for it ('intelligence').
Of course, spellcaster could swap 'spells' and melee on demand.

Also, could you create co-op PvE mode where you could invite friends for boss fights.

Ehh spells? Magics? Dude this is technically a robots fight, why magic with robot, sure that sounds quite astonishing cool but it doesn't make senses, I rather ranged weapon instead old ol magic in new era of robots.

magic with robots ? it don't make any sense.
