I generally really like that you have to build every ship individually, have different sized shipyards, permanent damage, etc., but I don't really understand why shipyards passivly generate these building points and you get your new ships instantly. It would be far more interresting if they would instead build the ships at a speed of one point per turn. This would add the stratigic layer of when and where to build (or you can afford to lose) ships and would also make these large ships feel much more valuable which makes the player feel more connected with his feet/ships.
