After the Livewire update, the game no longer finishes loading using any Steam method. (Shortcut, task bar icon, library play button, etc) The first title box appears on the screen for just a split second then goes away. That's as far as it gets.
The only way the games loads is by clicking on the exe file directly. And then the game loads fine.
I have checked the file integrity multiple times, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the game. No change.
My other Steam games load properly.
Any ideas why the game runs by clicking on the game file directly, but not using Steam methods????
