I regard the measurement box :

on the in-game map, as a design mistake. It should not 'jump along' when the user measures a distance on the map, or set the route with waypoints. Way to often the chrome-box hides the map beneath it, and it is not a functional design. Most of the time i just jam 5-8 points into the map at random, and then move them into a desired path, then the dumb chrome-box wont get in the way, but why not make it stay in upper left on the screen? The text "OK" is btw misleading. It should be "Redo", because the inserted route disappears, if the button is clicked. So it is not "OK" to press the button. The player in fact need to press F1 to keep the route-points, and not the "OK" button.
