Started a new game, and came back to continue it. The save started me as a new game with ALL PROGRESS LOST! I thought this frustrating thing was fixed?

If you haven't already in the main menu click on Load game to see if you don't have two save slot.
If not something went wrong, did the game close properly before it happen?
