When trying to complete this task, the area where you need to accept the task is missing for me, the map says it should be near the entrance to the farm on Black River, however isn't.

Have you tried "tracking" the mission? I came back to this half way through and had the same issue. Once I selected the mission again and track the objectives, it showed the location
