Spawning with an invisible / silent weapon tends to be happening to me a lot in the CTE. In the main branch I've found that left clicking makes my weapon appear when this happens, but in the CTE my weapons will remain invisible (including sights) and silent until I die usually. I'm still able to fire and kill people, but there's no noise or actual weapon model.
