The shotguns in the game are extremely powerful with slugs. In the competitive mode they are able to kill people by shooting them in the legs. I have also seen people shoot the enemy over 200 feet away and instantly kill them. The weapon is practically a sniper with better aim, rate of fire, and weapon pull-up speed.
